Ventilation without disturbance from noise or draughts
In offices, there is often a high level of exhaledCO2in the environment. Excess CO2 levels lead to an unhealthy indoor climate and suboptimal performance among your employees. To combat this, good ventilation is extremely important. In the winter, windows are often kept closed, to avoid draughts and energy loss. And in the summer, windows are often opened too little or too late due to complaints about outside noise and draughts. Fortunately, good ventilation is possible without these complaints.
Ned Air, specialist in the area of ventilation, has diverse solutions to all your air treatment requirements. These always include heat recovery systems, where ventilation occurs as energy efficiently as possible. Energy efficiency thanks to heat recovery. In the Ned Air ventilation systems, heat energy from the extracted air is used to warm the fresh supply air. This is why it is called a heat recovery system. The recovery of heat takes place in the heat exchanger of the system, while the incoming and outgoing air remain completely separated from one another. The heat exchanger can achieve an efficiency of more than 90%.
Refresh your office with cool night air
Ventilation is also possible without heat recovery. This is particularly important in the summer months. For this purpose, the systems have a unique, patented air separation module (ASM). During summer nights, the outside air is often cooler than the air inside the office building. The ASM ensures that the cooler night air does not pass through the heat exchanger. So the cool night air passes, without heating but with filtering, into the offices to cool the indoor environment. Areas with many computers need extra cooling. Ned Air also produces systems equipped with cooling. With an integrated cooling system, the offices can remain cool during the day.
Ventilation can be controlled in various ways: based on the CO2 level, the number of people in the office, or the relative humidity. If controlling occurs on the basis of CO2 levels, extra ventilation takes place when the CO2 sensor of the ventilation system detects an excess concentration of CO2 in the air.
Options for new build and renovation projects
You can choose between a central or decentral system from Ned Air. Generally speaking, central systems are widely used in new build projects and decentral systems are more frequently deployed in renovation work. Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery guarantees an office with clean, fresh air and a comfortable indoor climate.
That’s good for the health and for work performance.
